Penn State Behrend graduate Olivia Dubin could not attend the college's May 3 commencement ceremony because she is completing an internship in Germany. Dubin, who earned a degree in plastics engineering technology, used one of the college's robots to participate in the program remotely.

Malta spring break course

A dozen Penn State Abington students and two faculty spent a week in Malta studying how country culture impacts business ethics. During their stay, they visited all three main islands and had discussions on the Maltese culture and its influence on ethical decisionmaking.

Students and faculty from Penn State Abington studied in Ireland over spring break, exploring the creation of art through the nation's culture, history, and physical landscape. Another group took a deep dive into language, literature and culture in Spain while others studied business ethics in Malta. Students selected for Alternative Spring Break traveled to a Native American reservation in South Dakota and Washington, D.C., to work with those in need.
